The Estimating Specialist is a member of the Project Controls Group in the Engineering Solutions Department. Assembles all cost elements involved in the defined scope of a project to generate an estimated cost. Applies established cost estimating practices, to ensure that the estimate is accurate and realistic. Provides Management and/or the Project Steering Team with cost estimates at appropriate steps in the project..

Key responsibilities:
Provides estimates as required to evaluate various conceptual alternatives and to support economical evaluations.
Produces estimates for the miscellaneous project phases as basis for budgeting, monitoring and managerial decisions.
Estimates cost of deviations and assesses impact on total project cost.
